Taken October 2021: This series is called Night Walk Down Pittsfield. I have always wanted to try photographing portraits around a city during the night. The city lights at night inspired me to look around town and find the best spots to photograph my friends. Some of them I posed, but when they got used to the idea of being photographed they opened up and my best photo of that night showed up. The first photo of this series is my friend Nick R. who fell into the pose with this entryway lighting. I keep the photo dark on purpose to make the mood of the photo stand out more for the viewer. During my friend's 4th of July party, I focused on capturing interesting portraits with my new lens. I have been a senior portrait photographer for over a year now. This job involves training me to look for details, capture the moments, and what poses make the photo. I also was reading tips and tricks on portrait photography during the last year to improve my photography. These are the top photos I took of my friends during the party. You will also see a photo of me blowing bubbles in the album. |
