The First weekend in April, I explored several different parts of Boston, MA. The Whaling City Camera Club had an upcoming Photojournalism competition and I needed new content to enter. I started in Faneuil Hall, where street vendors are making balloon animals and performers entertaining the crowd. I captured the right moment of a guy looking at me through the colorful balloons, he looked like he was enjoying the day selling balloon hats. I then walked to the Boston Common, Boston market, and the north end. At the Boston market, surrounded by many people selling products and customers trying to find the perfect price, I noticed a fish market hidden beneath people walking. While hopping into a different shop at North End, one of my favorite photographs I took was of a young woman posed in an Italian bakery/shop. The lighting, the colors, and the moment made me stop to take this photo. After this trip, I'm planning more walks around Boston to work on my photojournalism work and to find the moment in the crowds.
