People of Portsmouth

A few weeks ago I started my project "Focusing on People” as I walked around Portsmouth, NH during the Christmas tree lighting event. In these five photos I captured the expressions of crowds and children at a fun holiday event. The town was packed with people, providing the challenge of noticing that one boy waiting patiently for the parade to start, or the little girl experiencing the bright light of a toy. My favorite moment of the night may have been when I heard from a mother with a five year old daughter, "She is just like a little me!", showing a big smile on her face.
