June 2021 was the last supermoon of the year. With the Whaling City Camera club, we planned to meet up at a place with low-pollution lighting to capture the full moon. Club members are slowly coming back for meetups after a year and a half of only online meetings. That night I used a new lens I bought the day before, Canon 70-200mm F2.8 lens. This particular lens is perfect for sports, wildlife, and portrait photography making the background less stand out when capturing a subject. All the photos I took below were taken on this lens and I wasn't disappointed. What made the night more special is a couple was spending their 10th anniversary together paddle boarding under the super moon's light.
